Just what I needed - an easy external port for portable solar panel
This partly 3D printed part worked perfectly for my needs! I wanted to add a solar charging port to my teardrop so I could attach a movable solar panel to charge the batteries if I was parked in the shade. I just drilled a couple small holes for the leads in the exterior of the trailer, attached the connector to the siding, wired up the leads, and that was that. Simple and effective. Thank you!!!

Good fit, right part, good price!

Top Notch
Finally found one that would work. Ordering was easy. Arrived one time. Was as advertised. Had to apply my own MC4 connections: it was easy. Great device. Now I don't have to drill holes or open windows to run extensions.

Item is awesome but expensive and very slow shipping
I have bought 4 of these entry housings. They're awesome if you want solar connectors on different enclosures. I've used them on two sheds and a shipping container! They are a bit expensive but the quality is pretty good. They look 3d printed but they're not cheap and i'm not worried about them lasting. My only complaint is shipping time is extremely slow. It look almost a month for me to get the last order.

Good product/One suggestion
This is a good, well-made product. My one suggestion for improvement is to include a gasket for the interface between the housing and the mounting-surface. I used silicone. But a rubber gasket would be preferable, IMHO.
